Do you need a Christmas gift that's special and shows you've gone to some trouble but that doesn't cost much and is easy to do? Turn to your kitchen. With some simple ingredients you can create memorable gifts that your friends and relatives will appreciate (or at least they should!) and that are far better than most store-bought items. You can go light or fancy with the wrapping of the items. I tend to find glass or plastic containers at the dollar store or repurpose empty jars I have around the house (like large peanut butter jars). The inexpensive or repurposed containers work fine, especially when dressed up with ribbon, etc.. I've pasted links below for some of my favorite options for giving, and I'll also be posting more ideas in the coming days, particularly options for "diabetic friendly" foods. Enjoy!
