Make 15 Minute Air Fryer Everything Bagel Cheese Scones or Buns

These scones/buns take just a few minutes to mix up and air fry in 12 to 15 minutes. They are soft inside, cheesy, dusted with salty-savory "Everything Bagel" topping, and great with dinner or for breakfast. I also like them for lunch, sandwiched with a slice of cheddar cheese and reheated in the air fryer. Enjoy!

Air Fryer Everything Bagel Cheese Scones -- Makes 6-8


1 1/2 cups of self-rising flour

1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese (preferably sharp)

1/2 - 3/4 cup of heavy (whipping) cream

1-2 tablespoons of "Everything Bagel" seasoning


Cut small pieces of baking parchment to fit your air fryer basket. In a medium bowl or measure stir together well the self-rising flour and cheese. Gradually stir in the heavy cream, a little at a time, until a wet dough comes together. Scoop out six to eight portions of dough (I sometimes use a 1/4 cup scoop, sometimes just a spoon), placing two or three dough mounds on each piece of parchment and spacing the mounds an inch or two apart. Flatten the mounds a little with damp fingers (you want to make sure they're moistened a bit). Sprinkle the bagel seasoning on the dough mounds, pressing the seasoning into the mounds a little. Spritz the mounds with a little non-stick cooking spray. Put one dough-topped piece of parchment in your air fryer basket, put the basket in the air fryer, and air fry the dough at 360 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until the scones are puffed and golden brown. Repeat the cooking process with the remaining dough.
